After two weeks of no sailing today was very enjoyable on and off the water.

Futura 111, OD 8.5, 42 Drake / C3 - After watching my hopes fade on the F1, headed down for a quick sail. Had to get the new board wet! Great board, the bigger fin and wider tail had the 8.5 working nicely, which never really happened on the old 111. Looking forward to trying it in a bit more wind.

AHD 85 wide with 8.5M Lightning

First real try of the 490 mast in the 8.5, better than the 460 with an extenda

Boom finally gave out a half hour into the session

8 years out of a custom slimline alloy race boom, not too bad

A bit weird that I finished gripping the new carbon boom just an hour before

Grabbed the bosses gear later in the day & got my best speeds although under powered on the 7.5M
