Wind again never arrived as promisedCry about 12 to 17kts before it dropped out, stranding us all, few of us went for the hour (Most started after me, so probably didn't get it), and I am happy with a 20+ hour in those winds, great gear, The JP134 just keeps planing, Gaastra GTX 7m powewrful and fastish, and JP weed 36.  The crew are still down there waiting for the wind to return good luck fellas!!

Took most of the day of as time in lieu as the forcast was respectable for the last bit of wind for the next week, unfortunately the blow blew itself out last night and for the first session (5hrs) the wind was pretty gutless and I was underdone, went home to do some work and the wind instantly started picking up as I derigged.

2hrs of working at home watching the wind was enough, finished of the work then nut and bolted back to Hardies, much better, only an 1-1/2hr session but I managed the same distance as the earlier one.

Aboslutely stoked to see I finaly cracked the tonneCool pushed quite hard in the last session, my jibing wasn't the best but happy with the alpha which was in the eastern channel. Wish the arms had a biot left in them but the earlier session knocked us about.

Great session with the rest of the crab crushers.Cool

The JP Supersport Just rocksCoolCool, over the chop around the bends, could have gone quicker but just aiming for distance todayCool

Just checked on the boys at 4pm, Bender was on 52.9 nautical miles, and Decrepit 48.9 nms, they're going for distance, said they'll sail till they drop.  Wind has filled in solid 15/16kts about another 1.5 to 2 hrs of daylight, good luck guys looking fwd to see how far they sail?

Go MM. Wish I could have been there but what with work this morning and looking after my lovely children tonight I have to watch the scores and cheer you on. Sorry to see the wind did not perform for you Hardie, wndfinder made it look good but that doesn't help I know.

Looking forward to seeing the others scores.

That Nautical mile is brilliant Decrep, only 2 knots less than your 2 second peak shows fantastic sustained board speed (how do you do it???Surprised) Add the othe results and that was another great session.

Binny congratulations on the pb. And Bender: 150+ kms in a session is a great achievement.

I'm very pleased with my NM and 1hr, Elmo and Sam both seemed faster than me, (not sure about Bender didn't get to sail with him much) so it suprised me to beat them in these divisions. (perhaps I was lucky enough to get a good gust that lasted the whole NM.)

Congrats on the alpha Elmo, you've got it all over me in those conditions, I didn't plane thru one gybe today.

Anyone else to post? Were Ben and I the only ones working?Surprised

A fantastic team effort everyone, I look forward to an autumn and winter of more great sessions ( and maybe a pb or two)Cool ( I am not complaining, I had 9 sessions in March, that is a PB for me outside of a dedicated windsuurfing holiday and I haven't had one of those since I married).
