5826 days ago Made the long awaited pilgrimage to Sandy Point based on forecast that was on and off so many times it did my head in, but eventually it just had to be done. It was reasonably windy today at 25+, but the course was completely square so it was a case of really trying to hold the power down. Used the Manta 49 with the 5.8 Koncept and Falcon 26 and sailed until my arms were finished. Very cold, very sandy and very very flat. I felt sensations and noises from my board that I have never experienced before. Though I wasn't super quick today compared to Slowy & Dan, I was still managed to be competitive with everyone else so was happy just to have this experience under my belt.
