Really good session today, first few runs i was cacking my dacks but then i just muscled the sail in and went for it. I am really pleased with pbs and having 8 other sailors out there just made it even betterSmile

Wahoooooooo! wind was averaging 25 knots with gusts to 30

Had the big board on the edge today accidentally launched off some chop in a big gust nice catapult resulting in a nasty harness hook stretch mark in the new 5.8 Koncept.

Fantastic day sailing with a lot of the team.  So many of the guys getting PB's in good but not great conditions just shows how hard every one is pushing it.  What a great day.  Started off with a 6.6 on the iSonic 86, but totalled the boom so changed down to the 5.6 and then down to the 50L board.  Most of the sailing was on this combination, but changed back to the iSonic 86 at the end and got a 37 knot run - nice board !!  Really great day.

Went to Dorans Road but water was far too lumpy so drove down to Opossum Bay (Eastern Side) Water was a lot flatter but it was very gusty and still too lumpy for good speeds, but had a good sail anyway.Sounds like you guys had a good day up there.Well done on some good speeds! Dave were you at PS. as well?

Yeah, thanks again for helping when my boom broke Johno.  One arm broke when I was out past the islands and just held together until I made it to a sand bar.  Then I turned it upside down so I could use the other side to make it back to shore, but the clew end snapped off - absolutely buggered now and drifting out with the tide.  Johno helped get me downwind to the other bank (using his sail as wind drag) and lent me his boom so I could sail back and get my other rig and then bring his boom back.  As friendly as this place is to sail, if you end up on the other side of the channel, it's hard to get back.

My 2 sec max was heading out (north), while bearing off in a gust.
