Wello 8 to 14 to start with, with the wind dropping out a lot, but got pretty strong in the end. I rigged the Falcon 111 with Nash Redline 7.6 and Curtris fin 44. I was going for the distance and was going to stay in Lota's flat water to save my energy, but it was full of weeds so you had to clean the fin all the time if you wanted to get going, so I gave that idea up and headed out into the rough. I am just so slow in the rough that I was afraid I would never get any distance on the clock, but after three hours the wind got quite strong and I had at least hundred. Then it got stronger and I was in the water more than on it so I decided to give up, but Vando is still out there going for the 200ks. I wish I had persevered for the 130

Got a new gt31 after water getting into my gt11 then went down to wello wind was about 15kt with nice flat water so I went for some big ks

Well done team big effort.

For those guys who like to play with little toy sails i was on my 8.5 Loft Blade, IS122 with 46 fin from 1:15 to 7:15 and no flat water here .

I was out for quite a bit longer but only later on did I put the GPS on. Still the breeze started to kick it on and it was fun
