Arrived at 5.30 in the morning to no wind.  Had a wake up beer with Sam and the wind picked up to 13 -18 knots - westerly very broad - made it hard to get back to top of course.  Spent 3 hours glugging around and having a few runs along the bank - 34 knot runs.

After a quick break the wind picked up to 15 -20 knots but was still very broad.  Not quite enough for speed boards but alot of fun on the bigger slalom gear.  I managed to get hold of a gust and saw 37.3 on the screen and followed up with several 36 knots runs and another 37 knot run - very surprised and found out Andreas had done a 35.3 on freeride gear on the same gust - well done.

Pb for the 6.6m koncept - unreal sail and pb for the fanatic 89 - this board seems to get faster and better every time i use it.

At the end of the day the wind went s/west and was square so we managed to get an hour in.  Great day apart from the power boats.

 Carl - Fanatic 89, 6.6m koncept and 31cm sl7. Sam - started on Fanatic 111, 7.5m koncept and 37cm sl7 and finished the day on Fanatic 91, 6.2m loft blade and 31cm sl7.  Goolwa alpha channel - 15 - 20 knot westerly - ended up s/west
