Sailed down at Pittwater with Steve.  Looked great when we got there, so I rigged my 5.6 on the iSonic 86, but the dropped out a lot and we only got a couple of short runs in.  Good to get of for a sail though and clear the head a bit.

Well done Izaak on taking out the Gold in the Junior's.  Fantastic effort.  I also notice you beat your dad today for top speed!!  Could be a sign of things to come in 2009.

Dave and I went to 5 Mile Beach which is across from Pittwater. Wind was howling all morning and as soon as we went out it died out. Well done James on the 30+ knot PB and nice alpha Perks. I went out on the 08 Isonic 76 with SSR 6.6 and Select SL 31cm fin.

Well that proves one  thing 55 min on standard cycle in a Bosch front loader washing machine and the BGT 31 is still waterproofEmbarassedLaughing  I was a bit worried but I could  have posted the Garmin results instead they were all within .03 of a kt except the Alpha wich was a full kt slower

You have to remember izaak that your dad had the same size sail as you and how much more does he way?? and of course there heaps of other factors. Still way to go. Hopefully we will all be beating him regularly soon!!!Wink

Nice NM Stew, where'd you get that?

Just up the river Dave. I layed off for about 2.5 nautical miles reached speeds of upto 28Knots and as low as 14Knots. Lots of tree lines and hills to prevent it from being a clean run I think.
