Craw (3644km): 7.0 rss mk111,109l jp ss,31 jp freeride weed Great day at Hardies, lots of tourists down from perth:)good light wind sail compared to last few days but too buggered to sail for long. nice meeting some new like minded crew
Elmo (15665km): JP Slalom IV, NP RSS MkII 7.2m, JP Slalom 36cm Got down to the run late as most people were getting of the water, followed everyones advise and rigged the 7.2m which ended up being almost to big, what was to big was the fin, every time the wind kicked up the fin kicked up giving way to much lift to utilize the power of the sail. Found a ball tearer flat patch out near the green channel marker, Loverly it was. nice way to cap of the day. Great to see so many pf the perth crew down
Bender (19030km): Iso86, RSSMKII 7.2m, 34cm Bentonic speed weed Hardies again a dodgy 20-30knt Bom forecast. It never really got about 20knts. Went for a cruise. First time on new(2nd hand) rss 7.2m. It will be good for Pong the iso and i cant wait to load it up on the missile. It was good to see different faces at Hardies. Bit of a Southsiders day out by the look of it. Jesper and Claude just dissappeared.
Webby (1927km): Late posting again sailed at Safety Bay real good breeze lots of windsurfers and teabaggers out was quite dangerous in the duck pond with so many out .sailed up to Pengiun Island and got my best times on the sand bar there . Used 5.8 tushie x15 5.8 and isonic 94
Sammy (16210km): Decided to wait the end of the day to get enough wind for 5.8... it worked! I had a greeeeat time out there, was just cruisy Tested thoses 2 Mach1 fins I had for year, never used.. what the ripper, awesome fins for the price, I was stocked how good they respond in any angles and jibe (feels so much easier that weed fin) also was almost overfin using the 28 with 5.8 (not used to pointer anymore) so changed to 26..felt a bit touchy cause the wind was holy, but when in the gust it was great! those fins are perfect for the CA50-44. I think I ll be using them more often... feels like having a motor in the back, maybe it was just a lucky one! I hope not coz it did felt good..the down side was the weeds, I had to stop few time to clear CA50-5.8RSS-Mach1 26 & 28 |
