Dave M (3481km): Lorch S83, KA 5.0 & 6.6, Select 27, Wind (All over the Place) SW & W 15-33 ! Strange Wind day, Swung SW early and kicked up to 25, then up down for three hours, swapped between the 5.0 & 6.6 or stood around. swung back to the West with a bit of North, gusting between 25 & 33 too stuffed by then to take real advantage of the better (and rare) angle on the speed strip. happy with the results just shy of PB's, did get a 38.08 on the screen.. "that's a PB" Lot's to learn about Deep off the wind sailing...... great to be out with the team !!

Chris Dimond (5865km): Goolwa Alpha Channel 2009 iSW49 / 2009 5.8 Koncept / 23 KA/Lockwood Symm. Used iS101, iS86 and 6.6 today, but found the fastest numbers late in the day with the 5.8 on the iSW49. Great to be on a speed board again - been too long. Great to also sail with the new team. Should be some nice numbers from a few of us after this session. Pity the day didn't quite deliver the promised forecast. Congrats to all who achieved PB's. Good fun.
Kimba (5126km): Nice day to sail with the new members of the team. Wind wasnt bad mid way through and had a good angle but it was hard to get one that lasted down the run. Went out on the 92 early but swapped it for the CA44. CA44 - SL7 27 - RSR6.7
Sam Doecke (16626km): F2 sx small, 5.1m loft blade and 25cm sl7. Goolwa alpha channel - 20 - 30 knots.
Carl Macdonald (18593km): Late arrival after work at goolwa. The boss let me go 2 minutes early - what a legend. Wind was 20 - 30 knots westerly and was blowing stright down the channel. Good for speed but not for getting back to top of course - 3 runs upwind on speed boards. Rigged 5.1 maui tr-4 and used isonic 50 and 25cm sl7. As i went out the other boys came in. I must smell or something. The wind died on my 1st run - 30 knot peak. Glugged back up the course and managed to get on a reasonable gust and then another. The wind picked up for 20 minutes or so but it took a while to get back up the course for the next run. All i wanted was 5 good runs. Anyway i am sure we will have more fronts coming this month. Good to see some of the new team got a blast. 2 sec trackpoint - 40.319. Garmin had 40.0 and 40.1 display. Best 10 sec run - 38.886.
