Great friday arvo sail ! had other commitments so had to bail at 5 just as the crew where arriving.

Am loving the rsr7.8 its just so controllable in the gusty conditions (had 3  28+ knot nm's)

late sail at peli point, was a bit late to be out with the crew. but gotta give massive big ups (again) to chris L for turning my KA Dog into a KA pussy cat. no wonder my LOC was lame this year.. what was that 13 turns on the battens... this is why im an architect and youre and engineer. Thanks bud, now you've realy gotta join my facebook group so i can make you 'the coach'! where can i get some spacers for the Koncept? KA Koncept 7.5, Isonic 101, Drake 38 (with nice crack on both sides- need a new one)

Peli Point, nice steady breeze went for a cruise to Pt Walter had a few runs but the weed a bit thick so headed back to Peli and blasted around with Matt and Chris.

Great to get out again. Not much wind lately. Got an hour and 20 minutes in on the 6.6m, SP50 and CL 26 sym. I was having a ball. Nice ramps to start with. Setup felt really comfy even with such a small fin for the sail. Didnt have too much trouble upwind. Felt like it was flying downwind (and was a few times "clearing weed off the fin").

Its nice when everything feels balanced.

Had some nice runs with the slalom crew. Claude was going fast as usual.

Nice to get out again after 2 weeks off the water, but got to Peli late at 6pm so missed the best of it. Still, it was real nice to blast around on the new 09 CR 6.5. Also tried the Vector 34 today instead of the usual Leading Edge 32 and it worked really nicely.

Good to see so many SRM out together !

CR 6.5 IS 87 and Vector 34

had a crap day with my 2nd batten under boom still broken i thought id just sail it again but it was horrible feel and flat.

Quick up n bak from peli to pt walter

managed to finish my last run in the choppiest section of the river doin a massive nautical mile just goin full pelt no holds bars through backs of chunky sections felt good and board definitely handles it.

iso 87, koncept 6.5, deb 32

Hey Nic, glad you felt an improvement in the sail. The finer rigging details can make a big difference. I've got some spacers and a batten tensioner for you.
