A 7.5m sail would have been just right but since I don't own one the 6.7 had to do.  Wind kept dropping in and out but overall it was an enjoyable sail - in fact any sail is enjoyable really.

Wello 12 to 19 knts, choppy and weedy. It seems such a long time since I had a decent sail and I could not quite cope with these conditions with my condition. I could not sail out the full hour, was in the water for the last ten minutes falling the wrong way in the gybes. I was going for a good gybe and an hour and it felt like I had done two, when in fact I had just scraped in one hour, but it was a good hour after the outings for the last fortnight. Falcon 111, Daytona 6.6, Viper Select 35( too small for the Falcon).  Phil and Vando were doning allright, though not going flat out, because of the state titles tomorrow.

Nice sail. Could have had a bit more wind but cant complain. Very tired for racing today though

Had a few lulls where I ended up dredging a bit - but you can't complain about being on the water.
