Albert P. Jonsson (8147km):
5748 days ago Sailing up and down the channel at Wello. Wind measured 15 to 20 before I rigged, but it felt more like 10 to 22, when I was on the water. Trevor measured up to 25 an hour before. Very gusty and choppy, but I was on the Daytona 5.4 and was testing my newly acquired Fanatic Skate 90L and it was fantastic. Cost me only 150 dollars, because it had chips and cracks in it, that I taped over for now, but it is so easy to sail and because it is 60 wide, it goes through the lulls. My gybes were much better than on the AXXIS, though it was very choppy and gusty; not very good condition for gybing. I was huffing and puffing, so I had to take a breather almost every time I came in, where Simon used me as a buoy to gybe around and by turning slowly around I got a panoramic view of how it is done. Pity I coudn't imitate it. Fin was Select 29. I hope my mates had some good wind up in burrum. I had a fantastic time.

5747 days ago Rigged all wrong initially, 5.6 Redline, warp speed, C3 Venon 26
Chnaged up to a bigger board - f2 sxS
Wind was very gusty 8-25 knots (some big holes and not very strong lulls)
Should see some good times out of Burrum if they had similar wind

5747 days ago 2 categories At Burrum Heads for the first time! WOW, WOW, WOW. The largest sand bank I have ever seen. Long, long runs in flat water making it perfect for the speed event.
Currently running fourth (Vando First of course!)

5746 days ago 2 categories Finally figured out how to go faster - just add flat water. Absolutely the best sail I've ever had (Broke all 6 PB's by the proverbial mile). In fact I was having so much fun I forgot to stop and by chance happened to get the best hour for the day. My second 1 hour was 21.09kn. I stopped waving to everyone after the first hour because no one was waving back (I was like a kid in a candy shop sailing with 30 odd windsurfers rather than normally sailing with Pat Malone) Haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face yet, although work tomorrow should help.
It was fabulous to catch up with a great bunch of people and sailors to boot. Big thanks to Justin for his tireless effort in organising the event - personally I couldn't do what he does because I'm too selfish and would be off sailing.
Burrum Heads (wind speed as per above posts) iS76, 6.7VMG, 30cm KA Slalom
PS - Sincere apologies to anyone I happened to get in the way of during the weekend.
