Bit of comedown to be back on dam....we just went out on spec and wallowed for 35 minutes before getting a few planes...we were both out for about 90 minutes.       S-Cross 120l and 0ld 7.2 KA Kontrol.

Good numbers from Cam and Gaz.

I used Fatboy with Herbie's SL7 fin and 6.6m Loft 02.    Somewhere I got the jump on him, but he is getting used to it.

A lot of standing up and teetering but this is what we will have for a while now.

I went to Yorkie's to have a yarn and meet Gaz.... Good wind so used Hoppy's gear and went out. I had a couple of arguments with the
shark net and eventually got past it then the wind dropped out so I came back in.  Gaz stayed out and was going very well most of the time.

Well done Cam I had a sail on the Eastern side of where you sailed but the wind started just as I had to leave around 10 am. We have never sailed West inlet it always looked like lots of rocks, Did you drive in along the beach or across to the rocks from bottom of pic?

It must nearly be time for you to head back to warmer weather, snow to 600m tonightLaughingCool

Cam's tracks make mine look a bit boring.

We'll have to get organized Firie and sail out to Green and back so we can put something different in.

We had heaps of wind for about ten minutes. One squall came through, with the 6.6 rigged for light wind I had to take a break.

Apart from the squall it was only about 8-15 knots. Just a fun sail.

Decided to try West Inlet Stanley today .Terrible Wind direction-basically all the good wind heading straight down the channel .Went all over trying to find a decent run but never really succeeded. The Mouth of the inlet has some potential in the WSW wind direction that dominated today  but was affected by wind & tide running in opposite directions today .

Headed in after 3 frustrating hours left rig on beach & drove over rocks to collect & then found I had parked over quick sand so was in all sorts of sh....Phoned a local colleague,he tried to borrow a tractor but no luck...Eventually the SES team turned up & winched me out as the tide was coming in PHHhhhheeww!!Thank God for local volunteers-incredible efficiency & very happy to help...

ca47 rsr 6.2 maui ultra 24  wind 15-30knots & very gusty Water VERY shallow .Fun -I think ...

Johnno -you must have been leaving as I arrived -bummer ...We''re down to our last 10 days .

Hey Cam, Good speeds, bad luck we missed each other.  Still in the Rental 4wd?? a bit longer and you wouldnt  have had to worry about the scratches along the side. Perks, Dave, Jack and I walked that beach off the end of the rocks a few weeks ago and decided that it might be a bit risky trying to drive all the way in. Thanks for confirming that for us.Laughing  Looks like it was gusty all over the state today and Dave just said it has started snowing down near Hobart.
