Herby went out before me and got the best gust of the day.   A lot of just slogging about but some short planing kept us going.  Such a glorius day on dam.      6.6m O2 and the S/Cross 120l

Troppo (4106km):

my gps froze up so have to wait for it to run the battery out. no data on card this is what i had on the screen second run so spewing. 5.8 koncept and 55CA 30ish fin at point walter. about 18knots maybe more in gusts.

My first run across was my best today.    Because there was little chance of wind I rigged my old KA 7.2m Kontrol with the Fatboy.

Todays results are a bit ordinary but we both enjoyed having the dam almost to ourselves.

First real sail since Burrum, so happy but rooted Smile Light wind at first then up to 18 or so at a guess, beautiful clear blue water but choppy as the tide wasn't right for real speed runs. Oh yeh, a nice warm sunny boardshorts day Cool

Carbon Art SL58, Venom 34 & Loft Blade 6.8, great setup except waterstarting in light wind Undecided

Green Island...

Carve, 32 slalom,6.0 KA stealth then changed up to 6.6 vx3.

Went to Green Island with Cam and Firie. Had a good sail in clean, warm water.

Well done guys. Nice set of Pb's Gaz. Good to meet troppo ( he was going quick) and hope the gps sorts itself. Update the firmware when it does. 1 week to go and no wind left for us so the chase is on!

thanks lao shi good to meet you as well. No luck with the GPS. got sick of waiting for the battery to run out so i operated on it myself.

no data was stored at all. The only stuff on there was from March so im spewing as i think we might have closed the gap a little if i had my data. Ended up having a half decent wave sail at mettams that arvo until dark on my 5m so a good day none the less.

Hi Rossco, I would have this time but it was one of those days where we weren't sure if wind was going to be ok and tides were crap, Cam was keen as mustard as usual and Gaz and I thought there could be worst ways to spend the day before he buggers off again Wink

Hey Benny, no internal data either, bugger we were relying on your Alpha to get in front of those pesky Pinna's Yell

What a life, a bit of speed early arvo for the team then waves latter in the arvo then Mandy time Cool Rock stars don't have it as good as you Junior Wink

Green Island is good most of the year but really our season is opp to down south and kicks off about now, summer is our off season and has been crap the last couple of summers on the coast. Rain kills it on the coast and summer is our wet season.
