Great dayz sailing Gaastra Vapor 6m F2 Missile S  variety of fins.  Couldn't get any great speeds which was frustrating since others were doing 39's, but it was bloody good Laughingfun

Agree with hardy, fun day, good to at last get a post for April, But 34's a bit frustrating when then young Tim clocked a 39 with similar size gear.

JP Slalom IV 70L, NP RSR 5.8m, 'kenElmo 24cm 40º.

Great little session after work, kept hitting the wall in the 36's just not enough wind to go quicker, F'ken cold breeze today, I realy am going to have to dig out the steamer.

Lechenault Inlet SSW at 5-25knts then SSE at 0-5knts

Rocked up after trying to escape the day from hell at work.  Fianlly got to my local at 4.30pm. it was looking really windy but woth too much south in it a along with a low tide. The main channel was a dead square reach and perfecly smooth as a babies bum.

Rigged the 5.4m RSS MKII with the Missle S and 26cmF1.

First step in the water and i copped a devil fish in the big toe, then while beach starting i got mauled by a nasty huge female crab. Finally got planning in a gust, fanged out along the channel gybed out the back and the wind dropped out big time. After 25mins groveling and another devil fish hit (now both big toes were hurting like hell) i made it back to shore. With daylight runing out i plugged in the Iso86 and had a quick sail and managed to plane a bit.

Well any session with 30 on dial must be good. Oh well, bring on winterCry

After work blast. on water about 4:40

*board w52, Bender 26 weedy and RSSII5.8 with adj outhaul

couple of quick blasts but arms were agony after a while. Either I cannot sail distance or it is my winter wetsuit..... that suit has got to go.

The W52 is simply an awesome board. It gybes despite my lack of ability and skill, the alpha had an exit highest speed <20 kts and proximity of about 8 metres but still high teens. I need to learn to gybe with the RSS than my alphas will improve as this board is sooooo sweeeetCool

Great to catch up with Elmo, Binny, Decrep and Tim. Of course the only catching i did with Tim was on the beach (39kts was a great score today, fairly lumpy and gusty it was, very well done Tim).

Just realised 34 and a bit is a really great speed. only the second time I have done over 33. Lots left in this combo, just need to learn how to do it!

LaughingThis was my first outing on this sail and board when I did not get stung by a cobblerCool

Really nice 5 x 10 Elmo, not too far behind either Sam! Well done to all MMs.

Perhaps go a bigger board Hardie - I have one you might like to try?

"This was my first outing on this sail and board when I did not get stung by a cobbler" Wink

That gave me a chuckle Steve!

Given your history with the buggers that's quite a milestone!

Nice speed BTW. Smile

Great session with everyone (inc Hardie) smiling last night, got some hurt going on today.

I know I mentioned it yesterday but what is that new post in the middle of the flats just upwind and a bit further down than Hardies rock? the mongrel thing lookled like it was sheared of about 2" above water level, gave me a bit of a scare as I didn't know there was one there until I was almost on it. any ideas?

I've got three yellow reflective tie ons that attach to star pickets, if theres any star picket protruding above the pvc then maybe someone can tie them on to a couple or three. I know Decrep's got some pvc somewhere around, but I'm unavailable to help at the mo...

Great Work Team

I am suffering serious withdrawal symptoms at the moment, spending every so much time on water and none of it actually sailing is driving me mad, need a new job
