Boggy lake 2 - 15 - 20 knot north easterly - very shallow - maybe last sail at boggy.

Fanatic 111, 6.2m loft blade and 33cm select viper - would have riden big gear but too shallow.

The wind was NNE and pretty gusty as is usual with northerlies. Arrived early to take advantage of the all day conditions. The water level is getting lower and lower so much so that Carl ran out of depth and cracked his board Other hazards include a fishing net strung out at the eastern end of our runs and if you ignore the buoys like Andreas and myself you suffer the consequences. Given that the wind was off shore it was disappointing that the water was so choppy. Not game to get close to the bank to avoid the chop. Nevertheless a good day as we got on the water and had a sail.

Boggy 2 - 15 - 20

Isonic 94, 6.0m vapor and 31cm sl7.

Oh well guys looks like Edithburg will be the spot to sail in the future and we have had plenty of choice sailing days over there during the 90's,the bay is nice and flat and only waist to chest deep.If the sandbar is still at sultana point then there is a very good flat water run on a SSE

great session today guys, nice going Joe thats some top k's you clocked up

Hi Meta

Went to Edithburg Two years ago in search for the famous Sultana Point Speed strip. Unfortnuatly the sand bar that protected

the channel has shifted and .now infected with weed. Has become a kite Boarding Mecca now .

Pt Vincent has a sand spit that extents out 2K's or more. Sailed it on a 15-20 SE and high tide . Need a good weed fin and booties

due to the razor fish. Talked to locals in he area and they say its where most used to sail .Its even got its own Aquatic School with

sailboards etc.
