Daytona 6.0; JP Slalom 84; JP 30

Finally got a distance of more than 4 km!!

Wind was up & down a bit but 6.0 felt stable in gusts. It was really rough out back so concentrated on the bank, but couldn't really find any good down winders. Nice session though, but had to give up early cos the arms are only used to 4.xx km lately!

Good to see team out...Jesper's speed looked awesome. Nice to meet Cheryl too.

Top session today! my gear felt really good 5.8 koncept and gladiator 90 24 screaming weedy.

Had a cupla sphincter puckering runs across that chopSurprised Happy with the results after such a long time between sails Laughing

Nice to meet our newest team member cheryl.

F2 SX Small with 6.6 KA Koncept for the first 2 hours then changed down to 5.9M KA Koyote.

The best winter sail I can remember, a tad better than yesterday evenLaughing

The wind kept building & filling in nicely.

Only got overpowered a couple of times out in the middle of the Swan Ocean, big swell & chopSurprised

Just couldn't seem to get a good gust in the flat water, every attempt the wind fizzled outFrown

Ahhhh.   Thats better. Smile  Finally some nice resonably consistant wind.

Isonic 76. CR 5.4 at melville.

Took the captains perscription of cement and was pushing myself beyond "staying dry" kind of sailing.  Was good fun trying to get max speed through the gybes in the chop/swell out the back.  All the best alphas were in the middle of the river.  Few good splats too.

Probably shouldn't have had that 10min break in the middle... would have been a decent 1 hour otherwise.

Time for netball now (very stupid I know!).  Maybe an afternoon session to follow...  but I think thats easier to talk about now.

Edit:  Did manage a second sail.  Absolutely stuffed now!

Hmm I looked at the track and I can see that I went way outside in the middle of the river and thought (good for a NM mile). Then went down towards the corner in Melville. Did actually pull straight on the last few hundreds meters not to hit the beach.
