Light Day at Inverloch

Seabreeze kicked in WSW at about 1.30pm for about half an hour, it sat at about 15kts

The strip was exposed but the tide chopped up the entry.  Once on it was fine although the build up of sand at the Venus Bay end is changing the end of the run.

2009 Starboard Futura111, 09 Ezzy Freeride 6.5m, 36cm Select Sl7. Location - Cole Street, Elwood. Conditions - 14-16 knots, SSW. Seabreeze kicked in at about 5pm. Hit the water at about 6pm and sailed until 7:30pm when it started to drop. Average swell & chop.

Well done Evan.  Good to see you on the board.  Its all up from here.  I went to Inverloch, I think your choice was better as when I got on the water at 3 pm the wind had died to around 5 - 8 kts.  Still good to get out though

The forecast for Saturday afternoon @ Inverloch was looking ok Friday night - I was very tempted but didn't feel like the long drive.  The bay was quite good. Although, you feel as though your moving a lot quicker than you actually are. Makes for a nice change and was quite challenging for someone more accustomed to the flat water! Smile
