Tabou rocket 115, 6.7m hellcat, 36cm jp weedie. Tried the rocket out the other day and liked it so much I traded my super sport on it. Has to be the most forgiving board I've had the pleasure of riding.

First time out to the observation platform today and never felt so "at ease". Had the whole rig set up ok and kept up the distance until my foot cramped up.  Loosened the strap up a fraction and got back into it.

Rigged big as I wasn't optimistic about the consistancy of the wind, glad I did, wouldn't say I was powered up but didn't drop of the plane for whole session so pretty happy about that.

Only dropped one gybe in the whole session, tried keeping up with Matt (unsuccessfully) in long runs from sand bar to platform and back, very interesting sussing the secret of getting around this mongrel, think I've got it right (in my head at least).

 Did not have too much juice today after the yesterday session, hopefuly I recover for sunday.. its going to be full of challangers

I was going to get out on the iSo with the lack of wind but gambled on the 50!

I joined Elmy and Matt for few laps but never went to the platform as it was getting a bit too hairy for the 50
