Sandringham Botany Bay, southerly blowing between 5 knots one moment then 25 knot gusts the next. Used my Drops slalom, Falcon 29 fin and Koncept 5.8. The strip was nicely exposed but a tiny bit broad so the best angle was bearing away into some smallish chop at the end of the run. Had a couple of sphincter clenching moments on some runs, barely made a gybe in the rough stuff, found it easier just to drop into the water and turn around that way rather than risk catching a rail and going over the front like I did a couple of times.

Good to see some other team members out...of particular note was BossMan who I swear was doing an impersonation of the energiser Bunny. That guy is a friggin machine who just goes and goes and goes and damn the conditions... and he is so effortlessly fast!!! Anyway, today was a nice way to make up for the lack of wind last Sunday.

*Edit...Just realised I got 2 pb's today!!! Sweeeeeeeeeet CoolLaughing

Nice work Rick, I would have been very surprised if you hadn't posted a 40 + today!! Do you reckon that is a better spot to launch from? Might try it next time the conditions are right...

Congrats on the PBs, There must be something wrong with the site. Two sessions are here but only one comes up on the main page plus the Cockroaches are not listed on the monthly scoreboard.

Edit: now its recorded....

Amazing how many of us go to Sandy but end up getting pb's at home.  I  guess it's all about timing - the right wind and gearLaughing.
