A quick onshore session at Bono with Bono Simon and Ian. A had couple runs out the back, but decided to get the GPS and stay inshore trying the Quad over the shallow onshore water. Was a bit gusty, but was fun. Saving my points for long day tomorrow.

First day in the bay at Ricketts South with JMan, Evan and the Alex the Russian since sailing a lot of flat water lately. Was light first so decided rigging the big gear and just about to hit the water when Jerry came back in, way overpowered with a 6.2. Back and rigged a 5.7 instead and took the smaller board. Had a couple of good runs before the waves came in and it turned gusty, so was a bit of a struggle then, but still good fun. Also took the Banana out for a few runs, first time in waves, even got airborne, but need to work on the balance at landing, hit the water nose first followed by a spectacular stack.

Looking forward to SW in Gippsland tomorrow.

Spent a fair bit of time changing sails and boards this arvo, started on the 6.2 on the Super Sport, only had about 4 runs and then the wind kicked in big time, managed to convince Jak that a 7.5 was a touch to big for 25 Knots plus!

Ended up on the wave board with a 5.0 then I even went down to the 4.5.  Took me a fair while to get the setup working today with the small gear lots of adjustments until I felt comfortable, put the boom a bit lower shortend the harness lines moved the mast back in the track and bingo all good, need to remember that for winter sailing.

To many changes to list Embarassed
