Had a really good sail with Mark, Paul, Steve and Darren, however I'm not fit and I could have rigged the sail better I think. Had a couple of runs on my Fanatic 80 with the Goldwing 36 which was OK when the wind was blowing but sank. so switched back to the the F2 with the Goldwing 36

Very gusty SW late afternoon session, but was loads of fun. In the lulls, the 9m/iS144 was great, in the gusts something 1 x size down would have been faster. iS144/9m and 51cm fin was to big most of the time. But overall, today was one of the best so far this year.

Neil.....good to see the Goldwing 36 getting wet already!  It's already getting you some decent speeds..and on the fanatic 80?...now that's unusual!!

Hi Normski,

Very pleased with the Goldwing 36, I thought I'd try it in the Falcon 80 just to see what it was like, it didn't feel too big for the board. It got the falcon on to the plan with the Tushingham X-15 7.7m, but the wind was not a constant so sank in the lulls. Normally I use a Goldwing 32 or NorthShore 28 with the Falcon 80 but with a bit more wind. I could have done with your Falcon 90 but I can't afford it at the minute and I have too many boards already.

cheers Neil

You guys should enter a synchronised windsurfing comp, those numbers are amazingly similar ( just need to keep smiling)Laughing

At least you had some wind, been miserable here for weeks (but then we are spoilt for months on end in the summer!Ever wonder why I moved from KentCool) and zero degrees c at night, we just set a record for the longetst cold spell hereFrown
