really fun day at the Pit. Not much wind but great fun fanging along the bank in dead flat water. Could have kept saling but Snides went all soft and wanted to go as he was too cold.Laughing

Awesome fun on the big girl Cool, which I used here last time a year ago... ups!! Surprised

Did not participated to the down sesssion where the boys pull out some good numbers! too early for me Innocent

Wind was marginal all day so I stayed on the 104/68.. had one attempt on the 80/52 which end up been slower. The session was just beautiful and cruisy, a couple of meter of the shore taking the run top to bottom. In one stage, managed even a way back the long the shore... just love it Smile

A good way to stretch the muscles after yesterday.. one very very happy Sammy Wink

Great after work sail with Pepe

Not much wind but a lot of funCool apart from navigating (unsuccessfullyFrown) the SLAB Zone (Squeel Like A BiatchEmbarassed) of crabs, trod on 4 of the little angry feckers before the first channel marker which seemed to ammuse Pepe no end.

The snot was giving the huge weedy some greif at times requiring some mighty chop hops to free it up.\\

the springy is looking a lot more appealing, had to fall in a few times to cool ofWink

Lotsa funCool

Hard'z don't head back early with your tail between your legs, you'll only regret it.

get some good anti inflam's inta ya amd give the strike a miss for something which you can sail back with (venoms?)

By the next blow next week you'll be right as rain, but if you head back you'll have to start working again.

Hang in there Mate

Bender, 85k's in that cold is amazing!

Have you got one of those heated wetsuits or something?

Hardie, Go and check into your local physio. Some good taping of your knees may make all the difference.

Would be sad to miss out on some good sailing and speeds now that you're there.

Hardie, What a dilemma! Maybe you should post your problem on Seabreeze and hope there's a sports physio on there who has some good ideas.

It is amazing the expertise that is out there. My husband's carpal tunnel problem is almost gone thanks to advice on seabreeze.

I guess rest now could mean you can sail later in the season. To sail now will risk more injury and may rule out the rest of the season.

Ligaments  are slow to heal. If you are going to sail you need some support at least. Taping? Knee brace? Scaffolding? Smile

Sounds like a post workout ice treatment won't be required given the temperatures down there!

I guess if you were a racehorse they'd inject you with local anaesthetic around the ligaments, get you through the spring carnival then retire you to stud! Laughing

...........my guess is, if he was a race horse they'd put a big screen up around him and shoot him. Wink

Hope the knees come good Hardie - I know all too well your pain.
