Started out at 11am and sailed till 4pm. safety Bay session trying all sorts of stuff to try to get a feel for my gear and size limitations, whats more efficent etc. Sammy showed up later in the day and when i was packing up the speed board was coming out so looking forward to seeing the results!!! Sailed Isonic 96, 33 chocco weddie, 6.7 code red, than changed down to 76 iso with 34cm flying objects weedie sawn of to 24cm. Big sail proved to be no advantange!!!! Slowly learning these things.

5134 days ago After lunch got the call from Bugs to fit the 6.0 and 5.3 with a few tube battens, gone as far as he can with sail shapping, now is the time for brute force.
hit the water around 5, yep feels better, the head isn't powering up, keeping power lower down and more managable.
Now all I need is more wind and a slightly lower tide.

Got down the run, with a bit of a headache, it was choppy again, but at least we didn't have the festering stench of rotting weed about, rigged up the speed board with the object of going for a Naughty mile, as sailing down im the shallow part of alphaland yesterday was giving me extensive freckle excersize, I decided to play it safe? out in the deeper water.
Well that was the theory any way, holy snappin duck poo it was a workout, not big chop (less than knee high) but it was all over the place like a mad womans wee, it was mostly jumping over chop crashing through chop, bouncing over chop and trying not to die a spectacular death.
Couldn't get my head around going fast as the wind was GAF making it tricky to suss out when and where it would hit.
Best Naughty was done on the 65cm SS with the 36cm, surprised and pretty happy with getting 3x 29's and 1x28 considering 2 of the 29's had a good 200m's unhooked after getting bounced out of the harness and just hanging on whilst trying to rehook.
Out of sorts but fun

5134 days ago Fun day at SBay.. was going to go to Hardies first, saw Tomski and Snake on the spot and looked just sailable on the 5.0 so decided to have an alpha session with the youngsters. It paid off juuuust, mini PB, still taking them a touch wide!! great fun chasing Snaky boy around the pond, sure that boy can sail , with an awsome PB for him
Underdone first, then ok for a while, then wind shifting making the water so messy, then wind picked up a touch, wind swing back, so had a crack at the 44... struggling alf of the time but good training, scary out there in the swell.. had a stack of 35s.. we went tackle the sweet spot with Jake, nice found there Snaky, we should call it the "The Snake vein".
Great PBs Tomski good contribution for today, the month . Cant believe you was on 6.6!! it helps for alphas look like
