JP Speed 54+Elmo Weed 24cm, JP SS65cm+JPSSfin 38cm, NP RSR 6.7m

Went down the run on way home after work, was going orf, got home got changed looked at the computer to check wind , the graphs dropped 5knots.

Got down the run looked like it had picked up again so rigged the 6.7 with the 54, hit the water the wind backed of a bit did one run underpowered where I got my peak speed and a smack in the jaw from the boom. Struggled to get back to base.

Decided session had already turned to poo so decided to experiment with the SS OEM pointer, which ended up being a bit of fun as I haven't used this board with a pointer previously. Got a few nice runs trying to dial it in and a couple of nice gybes.

Twas funCool

A very enjoyable session, tried the 4.6 on the 48 with the 19cm weedy. Just nicely powered when we first went out expecting wind to lift.

Max speed was on the first run down to alpha land, which was nice and flat in close to shore, but weedy and shallow. Fortunately the 45deg 19cm fin wasn't worried by this. Gybes started coming together again, had one with min speed 15kt, 2 with max speed a bit over 30knts.

The best one was 13.86 min and 29.78 max. Looks like I had the line slightly wrong, exit speeds are higher than entry, not sure if this is good or bad, have to vary angles next time and see what's best.

Really enjoyed the 4.6, this sail hasn't had any of the latest mods, is still single cam with no tube battens, but flet very nice.

A bit fuller luff around the boom, with some tubes should just put the icing on the cake.

Hardies Run, WA, AU. Another great night out on the pond. Those flat parts are bloody scary! North Warp 6.3mtr,CA 50, True Aimes 27 weedy. These fins are a good price and work really well. Either try mine or just buy one from the web.

Bender, the 5.3 now has 2 cams, the 6.0 to follow shortly. I'm not sure about the 4.6, the next batten up is in line with the boom cutout. It's higher than I would use it, but if a cam goes in there, anybody taller than me would have a problem. Probably not an issue, I'll see what Bugs says.

Snake, these sails are very efficient across the wind, plenty of twist, without the head flopping every where.

And I'm only 70Kgs.

Must admit I was surprised getting around 31kts almost square.
