Sonic 90, Koyote 5.3, 32cm fin
Really windy, horizontal rain and sand, and I was struggling to get control, probably over finned and under skilled. Gave up and left to get warm. and get sand out of teeth.
Only 7 km in 2 Hrs, spent most of the time waiting for lulls (hardly any) and watching the others charging.
Stay tuned, I know there's some great numbers coming from the others, Perks was flying!

5129 days ago Up bright and early this morning at 5:00am in order to get the low tide at 8am at Stanley. Arrived to easty already there and the wind honking!! Perks and izaak were only 5 mins behind me and johno 10 mins behind them. Was doing 37's most runs and had 38.4 on the dial, but like Izaak said you just dont have the time or space to hold for the required time(2-3 secs). Nearing the end of the low tide where the rest of the crew pulled out there pb speeds, my port tack front foot strap pulled out of the thread. Hurried in to put the foot strap forward a hole or two, but due to this change my stance did not feel right(too wide) and the day was pretty much over anyway after all this mucking about! sigh...wondering of what could have been!! Still extremely pleased with my pb's especially considering that i put two new holes in this sail yesterday

Great blast with the boys today there was no waiting for gusts it was always there 30 to 40 kts just no length in the run. How close can a bloke get to my 2 sec pb.
I have never seen Perks so bored happy, ah the suspense will just have to wait. Nice pbs today men, good on you Easty for taking the slalom board out in that.
Starting to get the hang of these little boards, all session on the Proto Isonic 50 todays the fist time I have ever tried to gybe it. Venom 26 a bit over finned for me today and the ka 5.0 perfect size

5129 days ago Wow what a great day, rare you get 15 plus runs over 40 in tassie! in one session.Great to just sort your self out with Nearly a PB...... Board and sail felt great with the new fin and that only arrived yesterday.Would recommended it, push it real hard accross the chop and as izaak said when you dive off your straight into some bad chop witch only some fins could only handle. The fin held in the whole day with no spin out, very pleased.
Bad luck Izaak wont be long, well done Jordo and Easty on the PB's and a big come on! to Johno. Now numbers could be set up for a great finish for the year GO TEAM!!

5129 days ago 1 categories Thought this might be the case, its a very hard place for top speeds as its a very small area to lay off in.It was quite easterly so we had to bare away with like the width of the channel being 60m wide.Any way had two runs over 40,first was 40.33 then 40.00.Still a dam good sail plenty of wind just the speed spot is a let down for top end speeds.well done to the others on PB's.Might now go for a wave sail.
