Started on 7.8 and Futura 101, changed to 7.0 on the 101 then decided to kill the wind by getting out my Carbon Art SP 50 got one run in before the wind died and I had to body drag home

Joined by Snake and Lao Shi from Pinnas and Tomski

Back from work so any sails a good one!! Sailed the easterly this morning ( 9.0 code red, w100 formula ). Very relaxing way to start my break. Mid arvo start on iso 76, 6.7 code red, 27cm le weedie. Good combo but fin felt like it had a plastic bag on it. Just cant seem to go back to my slalom fins (that used to feel fast now feel very draggy). Tried to smash out a few alphas but seemed to get frustrated with kites and general traffic, safety bay summer all over again.

Picked up a 2009 Iso W44 Speed Special last week so decided to break it in with a few runs with the cr 6.7 (1m larger than recommened). Turned out they recommend 5.5 max for a reason. Felt like a water ski with a sail on it.........until i turned down wind. First time on a speed board. Loved it. No resistance and ultra stabble. Look forward to 25 knt day with a smaller sail.
