Good day at the pit today with Jak, Bondy and Evan, some decent wind coming late afternoon, tried a few different fin sizes on the prokids today started small but that just made it to much of a pain in the arse to get upwind.

Starboard Prokids S-Type 72L, Select Viper Speed 26, NP Alpha 5.0

09 Starboard Kode86, Drake 25cm Natural Wave fin & Ezzy 5.2m Wave sail

Great session at the Pit with some of the Bonno crew - Jerry, Juergen and Bondy. Thought the ankle had healed but felt quite uncomfortable today. Going through the chop back upwind was quite painfull. Great day non the less.

Sandy Point, Vic, AU, Great afternoon session in a WSW with Jman, Evan and Bondy. Arrived at the inlet after lunch time in highish tide but still very well sailable, not too rough. Stayed all day on the Rocket in Slalom trim. Let some downhaul go in the end which improved speed marginally. I'm very happy with my new Slalom fin, great control down the strip and still very good upwind.

Tabou Rocket 105, Proline 29cm Rough Water Slalom Fin, NP 5.7 Saber.

Here it is.

Mistral Concept Screamer 83 ltr (1998), NP Combat 5.0m, 30cm slalom fin.

Good day at SP. Probably needed the 5.7m given we were on flat water.

Good day for the blasters to get blasting. Some good speeds guys.

Would have liked to switch to the lighter JP wave 84 for a speed comparison, but didn't have the time to come in and stuff around today.

Maybe the bay tomorrow!!

Nar my gps wasn't right. Before we went out Juergen was going to erase previous data for me. I thought he had. but He told me later on that he didn't. That means the 37 that he and I had been looking at on the water, was from a previous "max history" (nothing to do with windsurfing, think it was a car trip back from Bonbeach, when I forgot to turn it off Embarassed)     -not today at the pit

My best speed was 33kts today. Still pretty happy with that though.

I'll post it soon. Good session guys!

Well done on all the PBs guys!! I must admit when you all arrived in a posse with the dark shades and matching black sweatshirts I could almost hear the groupies screaming Tongue out  - but I think that was just Jacques Wink

Might have to sand the Screamer down a bit to reduce its weight… ….Maybe put a few cut outs in its tail…. ….maybe get a $250 tectonics fin….

…..and even throw on a cammed sail !!

34 knotts is calling gents !
