Pepe47 (7101km): 105 rocket, 6.6m koncept, 31 jp weedie. Started out early with Evets and Decrep hoping that mother nature would live up to the seabreeze forecast. About 10:30 she had other ideas. Around midday there was quite a crowd sitting around waiting, enjoying the shade. Then the wind turned up and saw the whole crowd racing for their respective gear. Nice breeze it was too, even noticed a few heading in to change down. Good day out, but tomorrow it's back to the grind. Even found time to remodel a remodelled fin. Don't think there's one bit of limestone I haven't found yet.
Craw (3644km): jp ss 69cm,7.8 rss mkiv,38ss fin at mellvile today, getting the hang of the new board was a tad over cooked for a while around four-ish with the 7.8 wasn't expecting that much breeze today
Hardie (20239km): Later
Elmo (15665km): JP Slalom VI 65cm, NP RSS Mk IV 7.8m, NP RSR 6.7m, JP Weed 36cm, JP 36cm +10° The boys had planned a distance mission, wasn't feeling all that flash this morn so I thought I'd wait till arvy, had a nab after lunch my cheerfull disposition had not improved, finally got my poo together and toddled of to the run. Got down there to see everyone on big kit so went the same, by the time I'd rigged the wind had picked up more, Went for naughties today just straight line stuff keeping the power on, wasn't feeling all that good out there, thought I was on a hiding to nothing with the 7.8 so went ion and changed down to the 6.7m and ditched the weedy. Unfortunately i downhauled on the wrong extension setting and the wind had dropped again but got a couple more naughties in, decided to flag it. It would have been a good sail if i was feeling better. They can't all be gold, occasionally you get a bronze. time to change into my pretty pink frilly blouse that'll make me feel happy
Decrepit (22059km): another dissapointing distance attempt, wind died mid morning and late arvo had about 2 1/2 hours nicely powered up.
Bender (19030km): Hardies Run, WA, AU CA SL 52, RSR 7.8m, 23slingshot, then 32custom weedy and then 30bentonic weedy. Nice cruise at hardies. Couldn't get my kit to sail up wind today so spent alot of time stopping to change the set up. Nothing worked. Think the 7.8m is just too big for the board. It's sweet off the wind but that's about it. It didn't seem really windy probably in the 17-20knts range.
Sammy (16210km): Hardies, not that strong, no speed, but I had an absolute ball session today, I really enjoyed sailing around with my mates. Great to catch up with the Perth boys GREAT STUFF Pauly on the PB, baby steps mate.. doing great body RRD_80L, RSR_5.8, Ka_230/37
