Pretty good day at the train. I wanted to go for some alpha's but there was just too much trafffic around, Kites, jetski's, powerboats, people fishing off the sandbank etc. Tried new fin properly and goes uphill quite well. Blade 6.8, AB+95l, SO9/33.  5 days in a row sailing, the body doesn't know what hit it!!

Wind was up and down but really had a good sail although repaired crack in board opened up again landing hard off some chop.

LAst sail for the year and also for the Moreton Bay Mob.  Thanks guys for making me feel so welcome and allowing me to be a part of the team for the past two years.  Tomorrow I will be sailing under the FNQ Mob banner.

Another sail a VP but in marginal conditions. So hard to deciede VP or Wello.

Tried down the bank at low tide but wind was all over the place. Sailed up to the white house and back to the green marker at the start of the speed bank trying for a decent NM but right in the middle of the run was some big holes. Decieded to try the 7.8 after a long time on smaller gear. It felt very heavy/hardwork so came in early (only 70KM today)

Rs Racing 6.7/RSSlalom78, Sonmic 95/CASL62

Sorry to see you go Sausage. Hopefully will catch up at Burrum or at the Yepoon sailing club for a beer (my Shout!!!~)

VP late session in the rough off Tompsons beach. Falcon 111, Warp 6.8, Viper Select 35. I should have persisted a little longer and got a good hour, but I was getting pretty tired and the wind was just moderade. I had some runs from the mangroves to the point all in fairly shallow water, but the wind never got strong enough to do anything fast. I was well on the plane most of the time and should have kept on for ten, fifteen minutes more and got myself a good hour. Happy new Year!!!

RIGGS (4886km):

Choppy at VP, no where to get good speed but fairly consistant wind with a bit of shadow in the middle, picked up a bit at the end but as the tide came in it got even more choppy. Some nice long runs. Very good sail.

is101, 7.7 Blade, 37cm SL9.

Wind was on and off like a whores drawers but I got some nice runs. Had fun doing speed runs up the beach between the breaking waves. Its the only way to get some flatish water at Yeppoon. Shame its only a short run up the beach before you hit the rocks but its good jybing practice for me. Fun day.
