Borgy (7359km): Exocet 106, T3 6.5m, Choco Spirit 36 Futura 141, T3 6.5m, Drake 50cm Frustrating sail on Melville - should have gone 7.5m.
Nauli (8194km): CR 8.1; RRD X-F 102; Drake 40 @melville.beach.wa.au Very quick, late session in shifty, lightish breeze, but great to get out...very pleasant! Just got the hour in! A number of the team out...great distance for Two Dogs...well done!
Annie (6911km): 6.5 T4 & 109lt Naish Titan. Tough sail in really light wind - still nice to have a sail & a laugh on a Friday Even better now I have a cold one
Windrider (6161km): CR7.7, XFire102, Canfire34. Great sail at Melville to back up Two Dogs' distance. Got the call as I was heading into a meeting at noon, and passed up a free lunch to be on the water by 3:30. Conditions were gusty - almost a light wind version of yesterday but a bit more consistent. Very happy with the 29 on the 7.7 - beats my previous PB for that sail by about 1.5knots. So, what shouldn't have been a great day's sailing turned out to be pretty good. Good to see bunch of Southsiders out, and not too many walking back up the beach
roodog (9007km):
