Lake George, SA, AU Beachport from the spit.   SE 16 to 18 and for a little while 18 to 22.

F2 117 stoke with 30 select weedie for hour alpha and distance, F2 Missile with 24 F1 falcon for speeds and nm, KA Koncept 5.8.

third time and the first time with the 5.8 on the missile, didn't think it would go ok with the 24 fin but it was sweet as no worries. only enough wind for it for a few runs, didn't seem fully powered on the nm but it was flat as along the bank, the weed is a pain when trying to get started on the missile in close, once out was ok. seemed to just stay 16 to 18 so done a few runs on the stoke upwind then just cruised on the reaches as was never over or under powered ended up sailing to dark to beat my pb. sore hands now.

Smile really happy with the pb's,  looks like some of the demons will be down on the weekend so hopefully have a bit of a team day.

Well done Jamie, that’s huge and the lake is now showing it full potential with the new speed board.Cool I presume as per, you had the lake all to yourself…. Again. Not many can claim to have a spot like this in their back yard .Laughing

Kimba the nm was on the big lake side of the spit but started up behind cockys point behind the islands, only done 3 runs on the missile 2 of my 10secs where on the stoke. I sure there is still a bigger one to be had there, north-biglake, south - middle lake.

Undecided can be a bit hard to push for big speeds when you are there all by yourself.

Mineral only seen the farmer (Uncle Kev) at the gate on the way in no one else around just the swans and me...

there is still 2 weather stations on the big and middle lakes where you can check there data, they don't always work like most goverment things.

Hey Tricky what's it like over your way( flat water or choppy?) you should post your tracks like JImbob so we can see where your sailing, we used to sail down at Sultana Point years ago.

The Local TWB Is choppy open water, 3minute drive. I have some other spots I will be trying this weekend that should be flat at low & incoming tide. Can remember clipping the razor backs with my fin years ago in flat water. Have not been to Sultana Point for years. I was one of the original organisers of the first Speed Trial in SA at Sultana Point. Dave M was there with heaps of others, we even had some Vic's & NSW entrants
