Farting around on freeride/wave gear at Green Point. Very fun sail.  Came in for a drink half way through my session and realis.ed I had not turned the GPS on , Doh!!!! probably did 100KMs for my first time ever, bugger.

@ Rye with Matt and Rup' went for NM's and sussesd a few lines to take with 34,35 peaks to be had.   Then set the outhaul on the 5.8 Koncept before the next run upto the speed posi' as the wind didn't seem that strong and got the 37 peak.     The only flat bits were up against some of the sandbars or going over the ones with little water on them, or picking the troughs to smooth things out.   Most of the time just spent on the edge of crashing as you skipped and bounced over the chop.    Crash.. I eventually did going about 32 and hitting a sandbar with not much water left by passing wave.  I was trying to pinch every bit of flatness out of it and then without a hint was getting a brutal catapult followed by a hi-g stop landing 8m's away from my gear in 6" of water on my head and shoulders.  Damage.... snapped harness line and harness stitching buckles and worn fin tip, sore neck muscles... called it a day.
