Mr Love (2508km): Early nice little sail at Ricketts on freeride gear. Had to get it in as the forecast for the next week is crap. RRD FSW96, 2011 Koyote 6.6

kato (15334km): A short session at Invy. Very lumpy session with ridable waves in the inlet due to the high tide. Lots of back wash. Should have rigged the 6.6 as the wind was very on/off with lots of off. Nice change to bounce around chop instead of the smooth Pit. SL52,Ka 5.7,Venom 30
Peter Johnston (5021km): Bit of a mission to post some good figures to knock those tassies of their perch on what looked to be the last day with any wind this month. Unfortunately not the easiest of days at the Pit. Drove down Thursday night with Rupert and crashed at Daffy's - thanks Andrew! Too little wind when we got there at about 7am. No sign of El Capitano who was supposed to be there at first light - either getting old or soft or both I reckon! . Faffed around waiting for wind wondering if we'd get planing on our biggest gear. Went and had a coffee at Daffy's then back to the inlet. By then some others had arrived so headed out on 130L board with 7.5m Koncept with Brad on similar. On and off the plane then ten minutes later the wind arrived and suddenly way over powered. Went to rig my 5.8 Koncept but decided on the 5m instead and lent the 5.8 to Ado. Used the 5m Koncept the rest of the day and it was a good size for the wind - a bit holey 20-25knot W which swung around a fair bit. Did a few runs on the speed board with no startling results but enough for a 5x10. There were really steep sharp waves in the channel by this time which kept launching me airborne or rattling my bones. Switched to the CA SL55 to knock up some distance and maybe a 1hr. It felt like fairly hard work today for pretty ordinary stats - and I'd lost a bit of match fitness and it felt like I'd done way more than 87km. Planned to do 150km today but with the late start and running out of light it didn't happen. Super high tide today which came in unusually fast after the very low tide. Had to move the cars out to the car park which meant at the end of the day negotiating three boards, three rigs through the track to the car park Good day though and good to catch up with the crew after such a long doledrums. Mal Faulkner (6958km): john gillis 51/ tm45-26/ prisma6.5 bit like holding an overloaded shoping trolley with bent castors on a real steep and bumpy downhill.
