what a great ending to our trip to Bonaire!

Alex becomes slalom vice world champion and today a NM PB.

But the big news is that today Elli planed for the first time and on both tacks. She was on the verge yesterday,1m sail and 27 knots of wind. But today with a 1.5m sail in 20 knots she got planing. She came to back to shore extatic(so were we)saying it was like flying.

At 6 years and 1 month old she has achieved this almost a year and a half earlier than Alex.I can't wait to see her progression in the next year.

It's time to sign her up to the gustbusters and start recording her progress.

Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU

I need a weed fin so bad! Spent more time clearing my fin of weed then sailing, I have now got 2 fins on the way. A freerace weed fin from Maui Ultra fins and a Freewave weed from Makani, Should have my bases covered now. It was a super windy day at times, I sailed on everything from my 112 with a 6.7 to my 93 with a 5.0.

It was good to finally hit Lake Illawara with Keith but I was not equiped to deal with the shallows and the masses weed, Can't wait for the next southerly so we can hit Callala Bay again.

Again kieth-awesomeCool

Only 2 more days for us here in paradise,we will strap on the GPS's and back you up.

How about we organise a team excursion down to Mexico and give Sandy point a go?

I have noticed Ian's speeds were 7 knots faster at SP than his average at home, that puts you in the running for the 40 knot club!

Alex has his 35 l CA speed board to test and see if he can reach 30
