well I woke up earlier than I have ever before, Mick recommended to take a photo because no one will believe it, Doug thought he was running real late as my car was there before him. Now this probarly contributed to my uncoordinated days sailing, as nothing went right, it was similar to participating in the couples skate at caribbean rollerama getting funky to Duran Duran, which is why I was a virgin until 24 yr old. Man I rocked that place.
Used my 5.8 koncept, 101 JP FSW, 36cm until wind died out a little, changed to 6.2 H2, 127 supersport, 36cm, Fin kept sliding out, wind increased, tide filled up, was overpowered and had way too much board for the conditions. And thanks to Ashley Nicholls being a soft serve, I had to drive home on my own and was so bored by Grantville, I rang my mum, like she cares about windsurfing. But was still a mad day.

Smashed my GPS today, luckily its just the screen and it recorded the session.
Isonic 86 slim, Koyote 5.9, wind: WSW probably hovering about 20ish with the odd bullet through. Was hoping to sail all day and clock up 100kms but was getting really marginal this arvo. Saw Evan up to his knees on his board in a massive lull and made the call to pack up. Pretty good day.

TIDE: INCOMING
GEAR: CARBON ART FR 77, 36 CM C3 VENOM, KA KOYOTE 6.6 CHANGED DOWN BRIEFLY TO CARBON ART FR 68
DETAILS: Forecast was for westerlies all day but when I woke to a SW on my weather station at home- it was on!
Got down to Inlet at just before 8 am, rigged and was first out. The strip was great early on ...the tide was coming in but there was flat water all the way along. Got my peak on the first run....
The tide really started to hike in and the flat water became harder to find. I changed down to the CA FR68 but I skunked the wind..it promptly died so I dogged back in and swapped back onto the FR 77. The breeze came in a bit but the tide was full...no flat water or sandbar to speak of.
I came in the wait for the tide to turn but it just kept coming in. Just before full tide we went back out for another run and the swell was rolling in over the sandbar. The water had flattenned off between the long swell intervals but the wind lost its omph. Got a nice run out but had to dog it all the way back.
