CA53, Delta 25, 6.4 Koncept, Green Island.

Nice day on the island but the wind didn't come in until the tide had dropped to low. Happy with the alphas as I was having trouble getting the gybes right today. Thought I had only done 22's until I put it through realspeedCool

At least one PB coming for Billy C today, well done. You will be showing the rest of us how it's done soon.

Had a trial session before lunch and wind was just nice cruisin'...... After lunch it had picked up and I was a bit overpowered.

Sailed with Jeffrosail and Geoff and Greg and the KiterBob.  and Lyn of course...      I used a 7.0m and 120l Fatboy

iS122, Loft Blade 7.8, 44 Talon - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU Wind E 11 - 18knots

First go with the 7.8 - rigged straight out of the bag and looked pretty good.  Wind was up and down and not that strong so 8.8 would have been a better option but never can resist a new toy.  Even though only 0.8 bigger than the 7.0 Blade it has some decent grunt and makes the board much more responsive (read: enjoyable) than with the bigger sail.

nice day at green compared to yesterday. eastern run didnt quite happen this morning so was a bit dissapointed. i swore a lot at the wind. fanged around with gaz and billy for a while in the hell chop before having a rest. pretty happy with the alpha considering the chop.

cam is probably going to kick me out of the team for this. i waited around for the tide to get higher on the eastern run and the wind seemed to have picked up. toody twisted my rubber arm and we went wave jumping near the jetty. i still had my gps on though.

billy's got another couple of pb's as well as i lent him my gps for a bit.

hopefully the morning brings more wind and the eastern run firing.

a 117 hey - you lucky bastard.  Reckon the 44 would be absolutely perfect - I use it with the 8.8 no probs apart from when wind really drops out mid plane and fin can slip a little (mind you I'm 93kgs Embarassed and and very heavy on the back foot).  Powered up it's excellent pointing and going broad. I do have 48 Talon which I haven't used in donkeys as the 44 seems to do it all with this board.

Gaz, Lovely corner too.

Firie, only 9 ks for the big 8K.

Vando,

Using an old 2007? Severne Redline 460 100%C - it has a bend curve of 16 which is flex top (completely opposite of their newer hard top ones)  I will try it on my Sunshine Infinity 80% mast but didn't have time to stuff around with boom connection (it's a drop shape so I need to pack up with some rubber)  I did add a spacer to no. 2 and 3 cams too.

Troppo, fabulous u-turn and congrats on the PB's Billy.

Good to see a nice Mob turnout, got the state covered Wink

Great going Billy GI, more PB's mate, I knew you would. You're progressing very fast, with that GI juce running through your veins you'll be showing the rest of us how's it's done in no time Cool The beach was very ordinary at first, I was struggling around 22 max thinking that bloody Billy GI's going to do me but saved by the Lucky Gust.

Great Alphas Trops and Gaz, I'm guessing a little competative cornering going on there Wink
