Good fun sail at Marion Bay on a high tide, very windy at times. Was just too choppy and lots of seaweed to try and get fully loaded for a top speed. Very happy with the NM (did that on the 86). Swapped between the Isonic 49 and Isonic 86 with 6.2 Severne Reflex and C3 23cm Sling Shot. Big well done to Jez who was sailing so well in those cond.

4876 days ago 1 categories Just a few runs on the slalom gear in way overpowered conditions with nasty chop and over boom height swell just too much easterly in it. Got a few ok runs down the line but called it quits as i went over the front but luckily no damage. Then went and got the wave gear and attempted a few forward loops, should of left the gps on. Well done Steve sorry i could not back you up.

Sorry for the late post Easty, had to go to squash after sailing and then out for tea totally stuffed by the time I got home.
Sorry for not being able to back you up Steve, wish I could have sailed right up the top but was to worried about hitting the bottom and getting caught in the weed. It’s still a little worrying at times with the weed where I was sailing. Am pissed with myself that I didn’t go for any NM runs though!
Great day sailing with Steve and Pete, heaps of fun in the messy chop and howling wind.
Need a weed fin for sailing at Marion I reckon, will look into getting one for the isonic 86 but have no clue on size!?!
