4859 days ago Great session at Boggy Started with 6.8 Switchblade on ISonic 94 with Drake 34 then changed down to The 5.1 Blade and had a ball.
Wind was NE and just kept improving however I was too stuffed to keep going for the 100km.
Sam and PJ did nice jibes around Chric and myself - be interested to see what their Alphas will be.
Help: Why does g7towin download my tracks with the wrong date and time - the time is set correctly on my Foretrex 201 so its a bit of a mystery to me.

4859 days ago 1 categories Nice cruise today on the F2 stoke 117, 5.8 KA koncept, 30 select weedie.
Lake George, SA, AU from the spit, N 15 to 20 and dropping the whole time.
Finished nights at 7am and blowing 30 when walked out but a bit tired and had a snooze till 10, got on the water about 11 and was good fun and about 20 until it faded out about 1, just had a cruise today and didn't worry about numbers, was the first time on the stoke for ages and was fantastic to be back on it, the water is coming up more and more each week and another week and you won't be able to drive around the bottom of the 5 mile drift., Hey carl I didn't need a weedy but that's all i have in powerbox fins. didn't bother with the misslie today,
was really flat in the northerly along the spit, could run really close in even with the 30 fin. HAAK the teabagger took some video and will probably post on seabreeze. 2 baggers for company.
Had a cruise downwind to the drift in a very dying wind . very lucky to make it back upwind.

Hard day on lake. Just couldnt get dialed in .Gusty 20-25 n-ne with some bigger gusts very close to 30. Sonic 100, S/B 6.8, C3 32. just cant seem to hold down the board hard enough to generate pace. My weight doesnt suit the sonics 100 liters.Should have sailed the 5.8 O2. Switchblade on High wind settings can take heaps of wind. Changed down to my Bump and jump Gear and had heaps of fun latter in the day. I could swear some of my gybes where just smokers but numbers say No.
Fathers day Tommorow. Thanks for the New Fin screws Tim

Great session today, really enjoyed 7.8 holding this well in stong breeze until eventually overpowered. Best hour and nautical was on this kit.
Dropped to 6.3m tried on JP but felt to stiff and jarring through chop, Fanatic SL111 way better with 6.3.
Best alpha was around Norm as just missed him as was following Sam around Norm. Really layed sail down into the jybe:-)
Best NM was just past the radio tower and before fence. Second best was through the gap in the fence in front of our lauch site - remember this as just missed Joe having to squeeze through him and a fence post in the water!

4859 days ago Day 2 - Stronger wind than yesterday. Started on same combo - Fanatic falcon 102, 6.3 blade and 35cm sl7. Did a couple of 5km runs and on the way back my neck was in alot of pain. Did some shorter runs and seemed to come good. A couple more 8 km runs - managed a 33.8 on a quick bearaway into main lake and thought it was time to change to isonic 86. After seeing Sam on a hour mission i decided to start a 1 hour. 3 runs in the wind cranked to 25 - 30 knots and was choppy as hell so i decided to abort 1 hour and do some more speed into the main lake. Managed just under 35 and was getting tired so decided to head back through the chop. When i got back the other guys were running some pretty flat water near the launch area. Had a couple of runs but too tired and couldn't time a gust right so decided that was enough sailing for 2 days.
Quick insight into what Lake George will be like later in the month - CAN'T WAIT.
Fanatic falcon 102 / 6.3 blade / 35cm sl7.
Isonic 86 / 6.3 blade - 29cm s07.

4858 days ago Plannned a early sail befor the tide went out & got a call out to the medical center just after I finnished loading my gear, by the time I arrived Pete was sailing a 6.9 so I rigged the 6.6Ka & headded out as I walked & walked the wind started picking up so I sailed overpowered in choppy slop, got slammed , called it quits as it was too hairy & I had missed the tide and was running out of water.
Went to download my data & my computer wated to format the card, put it back in the GPS to download from there & got card error. Ran recovery software & all I could get was peak speed & distance.
Great Roll out team some execellent numbers. was nice & warm & packing up dry gear was a change!
