Kimba (5126km): Goolwa, SA. First spin on the new Falcon 113 - I like it. Slightly more high wind orientated than the 111. The small amount of tail kick and increased vee in the tail was nice in the goolwa chop. Started on the 6.2/S11 35 but was a bit underdone so threw up the 7.8. Fun to get out for my monthly sail! Fanatic Falcon 113 - RSR E3 6.2/7.8 - Select S11 35/39 - wind gusty 15-25.
Carl Macdonald (18593km): Most fun and greatest day ever on slalom board. After speed the last 2 days today was for fun and fun it was. Had some exciting drag racing with Sam for 1/2 hour. Nothing better than close dog fights with a mate. Runs were 3 - 5 km legs - choppy at times but flat in alot of places. Thought i might have a pb hour and i just made it. Happy with Nautical mile too. What a weekend windy every day. Can't wait for next time... Lake George - 15 - 25 knots. Isonic 86 / 6.3m blade and 29cm s07.
Dave M (3481km): Goolwa Lake, SA, AU wind: 18-25 SSE Tabou S3 107, KA Koncept 6.6 fun bump and (no jump) day, free ride board and just good fun missed the strong wind, waited for the normal conditions !!
PJ (9987km): 01-10-11 Lake George SSE 16-24 knots-6.3m Loft Blade-Fanatic SL111-C3 Sting2 36 cm I would also like to thank Onboard for organising some sponsors and prizes. Thnking you. Heard the turnout was pretty good at Robe for the waves with a very high standard for the conditions. Day 3 Lake Geage - Suffering some post fiasco let down from yesterday and dithering about going out as thinking would be to windy and another overcast day. Downhauled my trusty 6.3 Blade a tad more got my butt onto the water around 11am and then just kept on doing some hours. It was a fantastic day, sun coming out, more than 12 people sailing around, Speed Demons doing there thing around all parts of the Lake:-) At different times during the day had some company, doing some laps with Sam then Hamma both of them bloody fast. I recon Hamma could have gotten an easy distance PB in. Hope so? I felt i was doing a fair amount of upwind work on starboard tacks and maybe could have run freer for an even better hour. Hell it was fun regardless. The SSE direction with gybing at either end in dead flat and in sub knee deep water made turns easy fro me:-) Its interesting to note the 5 degree wind shifts reflected in the tracks and all my best NM's and peaks were on port tacks (west end) and how all my best Alpha's were all on the East side (bearing off for speed) Put the effort in to try for 300 kms today but the wind swithed off, bugger I think everyone had a great time today regardless of it not being nuclear lol. Blistered up both feet from todays effort so today was my last session. Been outstanding here in Lake Gearge with water levels to drop more into summer and even longer sections of flat water. How good will this be later this year? New KA72.com overlay.... http://www.ka72.com/viewge.aspx?fid=18665&tid=0

Jimbob (11323km): Good to have crew out to sail with. really bummed as i missed the better wind in the morning as had to have a sleep being on nights, had a heap of runs on the misslie but as I only had a 5.0 was underdone all weekend, was a bugger to go through a panel in my 5.8 just before our speed weekend but shit happens, The guys all had a ball and have now worked out how good it is down here. good to meet you pj. always good to sail with Hamma and his bro and also the boggy boys Carl and Sam. Hopefully next year I wont be on nights and can have a few beers around the fire after.
