Fun sail under done on the 6.3 most of the time (my biggest sail until new ones arrive)but was nice in the gusts, AB67 Racing Blade 6.3  Lake Bonney 10-25knts

Lake Bonney. JP 59 RS 5.8 and EvoII 7.0.  Very gusty and choppy day, i think i got spoilt at Lake George a couple of weeks ago with consistant winds.

Went to Boggy Lake 1st and found out Joe hit one of those painful carpYell.  Decided to try Goolwa instead.  Haven't sailed there for over 1 year so didn't know what to expect.  When i got there it was blowing a solid 20 - 25 knots.  Decided on Isonic 86 and 6.3.  By the time i got on the water it had dropped back to 10 - 20 knots westerly, was very gusty and less than 1 km runs.  After a few runs the wind picked up and swung more w - s/w so you could do over 2km runsSmile.  Choppy through the middle but sailiing in the shallower water where alpha channel bank used to be had some nice swell lines to run along.  I would say the flat swell lines would be longer and flatter than BoggyCool but Boggy's wind is more consitent.

Had alot of fun cruising with AndreasSmile.  Might have to sail here for a while till Boggy's carp situation is sorted.

Isonic 86 / 6.3m loft blade and 33cm sl7.

Goolwa lake - 15 - 23 knots.

16-10-11 Lake George WNW to WSW 16-28 knots-JP Slalom VI 68+C3 Sting2 40cm+7.8m Blade-Fanatic SL111+Select S11 35cm+6.3m Blade

Arrived at Lake George the day before on promise of wind forecast that didn't disappoint for Saturday cruise.

Started just after 8am using JP and 7.8m Blade. Must say JP even though not my main board felt really really good. Saw JimBob who ket me company until midday. Great to see him sailing all over the place with great gybes. On that note I couldn't gybe for shit today with wearing boots for first time that were a quarter size to small and straps that wouldn't let go:-( It was wearing boots or blistering up feet - kept boots on.

On JP and 7.8m for 3 hours then swapped to Fanatic with 6.3m Blade. Was overpowered for about 2-3 hours and dropping gybes all over the place. The only thing keeping me going was 300 km mark with wind dropping slightly and wind direction changing to a more favourable WSW which made for longer runs. I now have blisters on my blisters to my hands lol:-(

Of note sailing in the middle lake there is just weed galore all over which means as the water level drops into summer there will be up to 3km runs on I mean flat water. The proviso is in a westerly and you have a weed fin quiver.

Lake George a special place and worth the 400km drive for me.

Kept PJ company for the morning but had to leave at 12 to go to work on arvo's.

Lake George, SA, AU  from the spit on middle lake, W 15 to 25 gusty at times.

F2 stoke 117, JP 36 weedie, and my new 6.6 KA Koncept 2011.Smile ( thanks Kaleb )

got there after 8.30 and PJ was already out sailing so rigged up and joined him for the morning.

Smile Smile Smile used the new KA and it was fantastic done everything well, really pleased with the rotation as 100% better then my 2007's, would normally have used my 5.8 in this wind but the 6.6 handled it with ease, i think I have a new favourite, might have to update the 5.8 as well. tryed different downhaul and batten tension and got some sweet settings straight away.

Tongue out will definetly run this 6.6 on my missile next time as it will be sweet as.

Frown had the wog since the long weekend and it's still hanging on ( thanks Carl )

Cool  CONGRATES PJ ON THE DISTANCE......

Thanks for the encouragement. I may go again for Monday session to Lake George and try 400km mark. Direction may not be favourable enough for flat water. SSE is good but SE have to see......  What's good for Monday is cloud cover with maybe some rain.
