Felt like a typical summers day down the river, carpark was full and plenty on the water, could have done with some more consistancy and a few more knots as there were a few holes but a great day to be on the water.
Mineral and Ricey were there keeping me company and also chin wagged to Nelson,Nic and Scotty.

4782 days ago Tabou 115, Loft 7.4 Choco weed fin. Met up with a coiple of the Pinneroo guys, which was nice on a sunny Saturday.
Lots of starts and stops today, in the end it died right out. New Tabou Rocket performed rather nice, I still cant crack a gybe to save my life, but the bloody board is doing all it can to get me aroundf I can tell you, bloody thing would turn on sixpence I reckon.
Problem be between B & B

4782 days ago Was planning for a wave sail, but the wind wasn't cooperating so headed up to Sanctuary Point for a cruise on the slalom gear. Another great sail in the vast flatness. Good to share some laps with Keef and Tex of the Gustbusters and some other local crew.
I definately need to work on my hand and feet calluses!
Pretty happy with the alpha considering the wind. For the alpha: max speed = 25.2 and min speed 13.7. I had a better one at 60m prox so look forward to improving next time.

Wasn't really enjoying it today with a hangover from last night (great party - thanks Mark) and then finding every rock in the estuary.
But happy with the figures , great sailing with a lot of the Pinnaroos team and Norts and Peter Dans.

4781 days ago Went down to Hardies to join a few other Pinnaroos.
Breeze was up and down and I felt a bit underdone on the Futura 111 + 7.0 TR5 + 36 JP weedie combo. Should've gone with the 7.6.
Had a go at the hour, but I made a bit of a meal of it. Ran aground in Claudesville twice after sailing too far into the shallows, and I was gybing like a gumby and fell in a couple of times. So still unfinished business to nail a good one down there.
Enjoyable sail, but a bit disappointed I was sailing like a kook

Great conditions but a frustrating sail, everything was out of whack to start with and it took over an hour to get things to start feeling comfortable. Didn't manage to get the cams to rotate once Original plan for an hour was shot so I tried for a few naughties but I was pulling up to soon. Nice to see a great turn out from the team, JJ was smokin, Snake was the usual Energiser, lost track of Capt loa and Pointman.
This sail is dedicated to Rhubarb who went to doggy heaven today, RIP little fella.

4781 days ago Great PBs, JJ. Well done team!
Sorry about Rhubarb, Macka.
Looks like I chose the wrong option for the hour, Snake. Sorry.
Big effort from the Snake.
Had a ball travelling all over the estuary and on a pointer!

was working most of the afternoon
had the gear rigged up at the ready, and here and there got a few breaks to have a couple of runs
only took the gps out with me on my last sail when most people had left
i've forgotten how much fun a consistent chop is and a nice strong consistant seabreeze
gps didn't have much power and consequently went flat after a few runs, wasn't out anywhere near long enough to record an hour even if he gps had lasted
congrats jj on some incredible numbers i can't imagine being able to top that untill i put on some weight
nothing special thanks to the big chop but lots of fun
i'm really impressed with the setup in those conditions out there, especially how well my 24 weed worked

4781 days ago Looong Day on the manbra mob's home turf. Got down around 1 to be greeted by Yoyo - the wind was about 5-10 knots so waited a while. Soon joined by Pepe and his spanking new Koncept and a few other started to trickle in. Great team representation by Macka, Lao, Pointy, JJ (speed king!). Saw Norts and Peter Dans arrive and knew it was going to be on today Decided to rig the new 6.3 with near max downhaul expecting the wind to fill in (didn't really happen) but the sail was still a joy to use. Plenty of crew out and about today, nice to see Yoyo out there with a big smile on the dial too! Went for and hour and mixed in a few miles but the wind came in after that first hour so had to keep going to try for a better one - tough going alright, feet sore today!!
Hour was just underpowered mostly with a few good squirts here and there - definately more to squeeze out of it
Although...WOOHOOOOOOO!!!! 25.14kn 100km ---- massive stoke !!!!!
Great team sesh all up, hopefully more wind today!
Norts takes hour honours well done Mate!!!

4781 days ago Melville Beach, WA, AU
Tried iSo 76 with O/drive 6.7m and 28 weedy which was a good combination in the gusts but a slog in the lulls, so spent most of the session on the iSo 101. This was bouncy out the back, in fact I think I did a PB for the longest spinout and sideways sailing - probably well over 100m. Put on the 34 weedy after that.

Had a great time doing an upwinder and then downwinder back again. I was interested in seeing what my distance estimation was like, I thought I was 100m from the shore when I gybed, but on google earth it was 300m!
Welcome back Dr. Seabreeze!
