Great afternoon down at Safety Bay chasing around with the Snake and later Scarrgo and tomski of Manbra Mob.

It was windy when I was rigging and so rigged the 5.7 and the Lorch. Didn't use either.

LB7,S100,27 kinetic weedy.

Fabulous Arvo down at Safety Bay sailing with Lao, Sean and Tomski. Wind lightish but very consistent. Started on the Ram 5.7 but changed up to the 6.3 after an hour or so as the wind was too light. A very relaxing sail  Wind picked up a knot or two after you left Mark although nothing really significant, spent that last hour or so just blasting across the bay and then back into the pond for some butter smooth alphas. 6.3 felt sweeeeeet today, absolutely flies upwind and feels light and stable off the wind - a comfy sail indeeed. What a fantastic afternoon!!

got stuff sorted that i had to do in the morning today and postponed the stuff that wasn't desperate so i could get down to SB

was greated by snake saying lao was out on his usual and he was going out on his 5.7

but i wasn't so sure it was going to be that windy so went for the fav combo

nice day for alpha's except for the large amount of traffic on the water messing with the chop a bit

the bar was lovley and flat but just not enough wind to get anything good

loa left saying it was my fault the wind didn't come in properly

second day in a row he was the sacrifice after he left snake and i had a few nice puffs and i was nicely powered up all the time

practiced some figure 8 racing around 2 marks in the pond for a while they were close together so i only just had enough time to catch my breath between jybes, but was great fun and was good practice for when the real racing starts

also went for a few runs out into the sound for some open ocean practice and i'm starting to get the jybes worked out there too, it's very different timing wise relative to the waves compared with the 49er, i'm finding the if i go into a jybe on the back of a wave or the trough then by the time you end up at the rig flip your surfing down a face

i was knackered and packed up and left, snake was still going looked like there were still a few good puffs for him but a little further inbetween, but less traffic so it will be interesting what stats he churns out

new weedy performing again i'm not sure but i think it has already got 2 of my pb's to it's name now

speaking of names, it needs one

it's not quite as much of a character as marks fav musical fin (no imperfections in my work) 

but she certainly is slippery

Pelican Point, WA, AU - short sail after work. 120 iSonic, 7.3 Koncep and 44cm fin. Good fun, was a bit sore after the ocean sailing yesterday (need to harden up - I know)
