101, 6.6m, 36 weedie. 86 iso, 33 weedie. Tried for an hour but the wind didn't fill in. Came back from Claudesville to see Slugger giving the iso a tickle and joined him for a bit. Hards and Decrep joined us just as I ran out of puff, so did mother nature by the look of the estuary. Undecided

Iso 76, CR 6.1, LE 27.

Looking at the GPSTC scores last night, decided that distance might be a good challenge today (with the forecast looking on the light side). Running out to pengo's and back to the bar for a few hours really tested the stamina. Slightly under powered for an hour or so sort of killed a lot of energy Cry. Needed it at the end to push the last 20 km. Totally fried, called it a day when the cramps in my legs had me craping myself at 20 odd knots. 20km short of my goal but couldn't have done another run. One more would have hit triple figures Undecided

Pinna's making an apperance again, Lao shi and the Snake. When I left the Snake was still burning it up like a man possesed!!

Mission was to back up Tomski, but my car was in for service, and everything depended on the hyundai being finished in time.

Wasn't too bad, I was on the water at 1537, with the 53cm and avi 6.0, thought, "3hrs should be able to do 100km", sorry guys, I think that killed the wind!

I had to come in and change from the loockwood 23 to my 25.5 35deg after that I could actually go upwind.

about an hour after Pepe had given up, the wind picked back up again. If i'd gone out with the 25.5 from the start, probably would have made the 100km

could have done another 5km but I'd have been downrigging in the dark, it was hard enough to see water depth as it was.

Thanks Ratz and Tom, interesting how close all our figures are, sailing 2 different places at different times.

Couldn't see the bottom for the last 3/4 hr, bit of a worry comeing back into the sandbank.

My body's not too bad at the moment, hands are the worst. I'll probably feel it more tomorrow.

Yeah worth it to see us gain a few points.

My hour could have been better if I'd gone longer distances, but I didn't trust the wind, so didn't go out into the middle.

Yeah. Those grey and white cookie monster things in warnbro sound cut my run in less than half. All good mate. What the wind didn't down your way, is about equal to the lack of smooth water at SB.

Just checked my tracks, was on the water for 2 3/4hrs that's about 34km/hr average, so that would have been a bit over 100km if I'd managed the 3hrs.

So my initial thought was spot on the money, just didn't get the 3hrs right.
