Great start to the new year. I was going to have a rest day today but couldnt resist.

that 5 days sailing straight for me rest day tom going to wear me 7 out .

day 1 new year.

went out big got over powered.

came in and changed down to new Severne NCX 6.5 all good happy with first sail.

Arrived at Wello and rigged up the RS6.7, found that the wind was not strong enough ....so back and changed board ...still not enough to stay powered up. back agian and changed up to 7.8 RS ..Exocet 71, had a great sail and plenty power. I used all my spare energy --- Boy o Boy it was great but not a good call to go out agian for a second time----the tank was was empty.

Anyway a great start for the new year and hopefully more to come........

What a day. Bright sunshine, constant wind and all the regulars out on the water drag racing each other.

Nicely powered up on the 7.8 but the SDM turns this sail into a powerful monster and tried me out quickly. Wish I could of stayed around for the flatter water but I was RS!

Still a great sail to kick off 2012
