Got down early as got the call from Pierre turned out good using the 7.7 but the tide was a big one making it very choppy with no flat water to be found.

A nice morning session with Glynn and chris , high tide and pretty choppy , tried out the new MK IV 7.0 very sweet sail and amaizingly hardly any back hand pressure but alot of power noice.....

results from the morning session were 2 sec - 34.51  and 5 by 10 sec was 33.38....

ISO 97 , MK IV 7.0 , SL-P 35

Afetr had lunch and went back for the arvo session with vando to get the low tide and flatter water ,but didnt feel quite comfortable today on the new EVO III but still needs a bit of dialing in and tunning which i should have payed attension too Yell...

Iso 87 , EVO III 6.2 , SL-P 32

Nice afternoon sail with Pierre who come back out in the arvo thanks mateCool.

not sure why you guys keep persisting on sailing top of the tide Wink.

Gear felt good today but might look at getting a 30 sting for choppy water.

Wellington Point, QLD, AU. Finally worked out how to use my new GPS one year on, or so I hope. I don't really know what I am doing. Falcon 111, 5.4 sail, 34cm fin. Hopefully I will manage to do it again. Should have more time to sail now

WOW that would have been a new experience for you Odin......not having to swim back after a sail....I would have called you a brand "whore" but 6+ broken masts would piss anyone off, something is wrong somewhere in the product!

ps I've heard the latest Windsurfer One Design sail is the greatest fastest sail around it smokes(when set on fire)Wink

Hey Cirrus the 7m mk 4 will be sweet on the stype, i had mine on a futura 111 with a 40 cm venom and it is really good.

Thanks ODIN,

I note from the BOM actuals for Peel Island you guys had a consistent 19-21 knots SW this PM and managed to get some 35knt peak speeds up.

My largest sail currently is a NP RS Race Mark III 6.2 M.

I'm looking at getting a NP RS Slalom MkIV 7 M.

To be used on a Starboard S-Type Slalom 104L with a C3 Venom 36

What mast and mast base combination are you using ?

Thanks Odin & Knut,

Shop down here is pushing me to trial the new NP 2012 H2 instead of the RS-Slalom. So i'm heading down to Inverloch tomorrow for a full day of "testing".

My heart is yearning for the RS-Slalom MkIV 7M but we will see how the 2012 H2 7.2M  performs.

PS: I'm up in Brisbane on business Tuesday and Wednesday. Thinking of heading over to Welliington point on Tuesday arvo for a "look see" how my old stomping ground has changed. Might catch up with you lot if anyone is sailing on Tuesday arvo after work. Assuming its good sailing weather (as usual) I'll be the one standing on the shore drooling un-controlably.

Cheers
