OD6.0, Sonic85, Delta27. Melville. Sailed the old Sonic for the first time in almost a year. Gotta be pleased with a 32 and a 30 average, particularly as I was dicking around trying to sort out harness lines for the early part of the session! Lots of traffic today.

Sweet combo took some time to dial in the new 2nd hand sail and the harness lines, had a ball out on the water in the gusts.

Didn't really let the sail go to its full potential, heaps more left in this great combo.

Great to catch everyone on the beech and a lot of SouthSiders

Reflex 7.0; RRD X-F 102 + Choco 34 then RRD X-F 90 + Vector Delta 27 @ Melville.

All good speeds were on the 90. Happy with with the 2 sec after almost cleaning up someone who gbyed in front of me just as I was half way thru the speed run...D'oh. Was a bit like the "old days" today...shitload of sailboarders out...

Exocet Cross 84L with 6.4M KA Koncept & 32cm Choco

Trying out the Koncept with a 430 Skinny today, seemed ok.

Tried a few different fins to try & get over 31 but the board seemed to max out

Had a late session on the 94L Cross with the Finworks weedy & later the 32 Choco, got my best Alpha on the latter

Great day out & plenty of team members also

6.5M T4 & 94 Lt Exocet Cross & Weedie  until I could hang on no longer.

Then rigged 5.9M Koyote which was better after Nelson gave me a bit more downhaul

Was happy with a powered up (sometimes overpowered) sail - but now that I've looked at the scoreboard, I am feeling really precious only team member under 30 - wish I was talking about age here

Leighton, RRd 90, Reflex II 7.0, 32 Leading Edge,  Started chasing Norts straight from the beach for a NM on the first run. It was smoking, Tracks show over well over 30 for the first half. Then made a bad decision and tried to break thru a large section of chop. Did not make it. Front of the board folded up and snapped clean off. Opps. I have a bit of Go Pro I will try and put up later of the day.

Finally GPS is back on the arm :).

Went to Safty Bay for a blast with Annika. Good to see a lot of guys out there.

Didn't 100% know where to go for the best speed, so I watched Chris and found "the beaver" with a bit flatter water :)

Tested the new Vector Slalom Weed in 32 and 34cm on the F2 SX 91. The 34 was a little to big , but the 32 felt just great for slalom on the reach with the 6.3 :).

Futura 93, Lightning 6.4 & Canefire 34 - Was feeling all out of sorts, couldn't do a thing right so came in for a break (even turns out my phone went for a sail). Decided to wait until the hordes left and the water flattened off. Felt much better then and even managed to hook a gust and a PB!
