Jimbob (11323km): Beachport, from surf beach. SA, AU Se 14 to 20. F2 stoke, 6.6 Koncept, 36 jp weedie. strange day to start wind was straight east in morning then calm around lunch the breeze cranked in at 2 and by 4 was good 20 knots. had a great powered blast around the bay as gear just went sweet, could have sailed longer but needed to get home for a sleep before night shift, the Legends out the lake should have got it sweet too. the Hammer bros have turnrd up for the big westerly tommorrow hope they score some speeds while they are here as it's dead calm now.
Geoff Shuttleworth (2019km): Lake George, SA, AU Friday afternoon, 15-18. 7.5m NCX Severne, 103L F2 30 Leading Edge weed fin. Great afternoon flat water down the right hand end to go downwind. Typical Lake George, great sailing spot. Norm Clarke got some great results and PBs over the week. Was a great week with Norm and Chris Stott, PJ called in for one day but conditions wouldnt allow the distance he wanted
Norman Clarke (3615km): Tried out the new OES XST 80 at Lake George today with the 6.8 Switchblade and select S weedie. Had a good session but will need to work out the Ergoform footstraps. Getting them to open up is a bugger when you are loaded up. The board worked well but was not able to really load it up on the downwind runs to test it out just not enough oomph
