Town Green....Port Macquarie, NSW, AU

Skate and 6.5. Just a cruise really, planned on quite a few runs, not powered but just cruisy in the straps. Storm came 20 mins later, wind dropped to 5kn, so went in close to the sand bar and was catching these little knee high waves that were rolling in through the river mouth.

So much more sand bar there than I remember from months ago, the chanel between the seaplane and the sandbar is quite shallow and narrow.

Hi Mark, That's good news.I loaned Aaron my 5.5 vapor and fanatic sl79 today. He cracked a 31k plus , and Matt did also on his old Garmin E-trek. He enjoyed the sail today immensely, as we all did when the wind finally kicked in.Peter Braun and Matt Klause won't be far behind Geoff. They'll get their GPS' next week probably, and join up.I'm sure Aaron's been fired up today as well.Matt and maybe Aaron will be there tomorrow as well as Chris and myself.A mate took a few images today. When I get them I'll upload them.

Just checked the forecast. Doesn't look too promising. wed may be better. We'll wait and see.

Good results for the team!!!Well done everyone!!!

Hi Mark,Bruce,and the Guys,

That was a great session. I had a few changes of fins, boards and sails that day and I was able to dial in the slalom gear when the wind finally settled in, and got some nice runs in.  Anyway. later on I opted for a 4.7m2 Gaastra Poison and the Hawk 93 for a session out the back with Aaron.By the end of that I was getting pretty tired and the wind was still honking inshore making the runs in a bit choppy and challenging.

That last run, Bruce mentioned, I was pretty much on the edge, coming over the back of the chop at full tilt. The board was in the air more than in the water at that stage, and then the fin let go, so I was travelling SIDEWAYS. All I could think was I'm history. All I could see was the guys on shore cringing and going OOOOh!It looked quite comical to me. I'm sure they thought, - " here's a stack coming up".I managed to slow down enough to avoid the stack, luckily. That was it for me!

I just want to say a big thanks to Bruce for those shots on the day, and looking forward to seeing more of him on water and the rest of the guys too.

PS Welcome to the Team Bruce and Geoff!

Peter and Matt won't be far behind!
