Tricky (3458km): ![]() Stansbury SA CA SL62 31 LeadingEdge Weed 6.6 KA Koncept. What a blast. Low tide on the flater water, the wind was a bit light but filled in as the tide came in & the water got ruff. Was just great to be back on the water. 1st sail for the month! Didn't realise how much I mised and enjoyed sailing. It was only 12 days
Hamma (9361km): ![]() JP 45,Vector Weed Speed 22,RS EVO 4 5.8 Lake George Bit of a stuggle early was about 15 -20 then picked up a bit at the end of the day.Still a underdone but nice to have some flat water and try the new sail.Think I over down hauled but felt nice for its fist sail. But what about Ricky,I rigged the 5.5 and put him on the speed board and he had a 42.5 on the screen. And smashed all his PBs.He will post when we get home.
| Ricky Hamood (2236km): What a great trip to Lake George. My aim was to see if I could crack 40 knots and it did take me quite a while. I sold my RS 5.8 and updated it with Anthonys EVO 3 5.5, Anthony rigged the sail for me and kindly lent me his JP 49 speed board for the day. I had only previously had a handful of rides on a speed board and I didnt know how it would go. The board and sail combo felt amazing. To start with the wind was only moderate and every time I tried to reach downwind there was no wind in the sail and I wondered if I was going too far downwind , so I was only doing 38 to 39 knots. Eventually I did a 40.17 on the screen and I was over the moon. The wind picked up that little bit more and the combo really started to work. I then done a 40.59, 41.929 followed by a 42.5 which I really couldnt believe. Even at these speeds it felt so controllable and it still felt like I needed more wind. I really didnt think I was capable of these speeds and I am sure that I wouldnt have done them without the help from Anthony, thanks for the lend of the gear and concratulations on your PBS.
